The North West is playing a big part in the 2012 Olympics

The director of Olympics has seen firsthand the North West’s massive contribution in making the 2012 Olympics. He visited a number of businesses in the North West which have made some amazing contributions like Leigh’s Paints who have provided specialist paint for a number of venues in the London areas.
The North West is benefiting hugely from the London 2012 Olympics:
• 5575 businesses have competed for contracts
• 114 businesses have won games contracts
• 901 schools are registered
• 17 countries teams are training in North West
The North West should be proud of their efforts and contributions to what should be a historic moment for the United Kingdom.
