Are we still in Recession?

It has been a good few months now since we have heard anything made public about the Recession and many are starting to ask the question whether or not we are still in it.
Personally I think the economy must be rising now otherwise it would be all over the news and papers and all that we seem to find our selfs this listening to or reading is about the MP’s expenses which I think is a joke.
During the recession the Construction and Manufacture workers were among those hardest hit by the recession.
With many Construction sites and workers being laid off due to money issues, this is still the case with employment levels high however this should start to pick up.
